The necessary Waiver required by our insurance company is in Iclass and completed when creating an account.

We understand there will be times when it is necessary to cancel a swimming lesson due to illness or inclement weather. The air and water temperature are also important factors in providing a suitable teaching environment and at all times and the safety and interest of the students defines whether a lesson should be kept or cancelled.

We to teach in the rain if the temperature is tolerable, particularly in mid-summer. After all we do get wet swimming in the pool!

At the end of the day, it is your choice to cancel a lesson for any reason, however, to ensure consistency and fairness for all clients and instructors. Please understand, once your lessons are booked, each students lesson time has been secured in our schedule and is not offered to anyone else.

Cancellations at Our Locations:

1. In the event you have to cancel a lesson, due to an upcoming event or travel plans, the office must be notified by the 1st of that month. A make-up lesson can be scheduled within that same month IF an instructor has availability. We can’t guarantee make-up classes and make-up classes can not be ‘rolled over’ to the following month.
2. We understand illnesses happen. Cancellations due to an illness will be accepted up to 12 hours prior to a lesson with a note from the doctor emailed to the office. We will honor a scheduled makeup class or offer you a credit towards the upcoming month’s tuition. No refunds will be given.
3. If an instructor is unable to keep a lesson due to illness or misadventure, we’ll call you as soon as we’re aware there is a problem. We will offer a replacement instructor where possible. If the class must be cancelled, we will give you a credit towards a future lesson.
4. If there is inclement weather we’ll do our best to notify you prior to arriving to your lesson. We’ll coordinate a Make-Up Class for that missed week or we may offer a credit towards the upcoming month’s tuition. No refunds will be given. We will never cancel a lesson without attempting to reach you. Please don’t assume a lesson a cancelled due to weather because it might be raining at your area, and sunny and clear at our pool.

For Cancellations at our Your Home

Please understand, once your lessons are booked, each students lesson time has been secured in our schedule and is not offered to anyone else. Because of Travel Demands, your 30 minute lessons is allotted 1.5 Hours of an instructors time to travel to your home and to the next clients on-time.

Weather:

For lessons at your Home, please notify us 30 minutes prior to your lesson if there is thunder or lightning in the area

Swim With Gills will never cancel a lesson without the office attempting to reach you, please do not assume a lesson a cancelled due to weather.

Cancellations:

We kindly ask for a 24 hour notice for any cancellation or reschedule

You will be charge for a FULL Travel Lesson if you cancel within 24 hours of your confirmed time. If you Community Pool is closed and the lesson can NOT take place on the same day, a $25 charge will be assed and paid directly to the instructor.
